* Norton 360 1.0 through 1.3

If your program is not in this list, do not use Norton Removal Tool. It will not remove your program.

Kind of sad, people created a program specifically to remove yours and only your software from a computer. And it's not even spyware.

I only wish more programs did this. Add/Remove programs is notorious for leaving bits lying around.

The sadest part is your stupidity. The program uninstalls all Norton programs listed in the removal tool. This is meant so you don't have uninstall, restart, uninstall and restart, etc each of their products. Let's say a person had NIS 2007, Norton Confidential, and Norton Add-On and wants to install NIS 2008. Is this person going to do three reboots by using the Add/Remove or will he download this tool.

I noticed it is always the same loosers that are first to rag. Show some intelligence for once in your lives.

Just so you know Norton has improved since 2006. Scans have been getting faster and Windows start time getting faster. Will have to wait for the latest benchmarks for the 2008 suite.

we admire your bravery in trusting norton their "improvement" since 2006. for the rest of us, we have been "stupidly" loosing our trust in norton for NOT improving their product since ... oh ... the MS-DOS days.

Yeah I noticed when doing a system reinstall for a friend and upgrading his Norton installation to 2007 in the process that it seems WAY faster than even 2006 which seemed fairly spritely itself.

Also put NOD32 on a cousin's system and it's just blazing, but perhaps not as user friendly when it comes to configuration.

I find nod32 doesn't need much configuration.

Last time I tried NIS2007 it decided after a few weeks there was a problem with the licensing and wouldn't work no matter how many times I reinstalled it and went though the activation process.

Glad I didn't buy it otherwise i'd have been annoyed

(before anyone says anything I got it from BTyahoo because when vista came out their customised version didn't work and they were offering people Nis2007 whilst they updated it)
