It includes a site manager to store all your connection details and logins as well as an Explorer style interface that shows the local and remote folders and can be customized independently. The program offers support for firewalls and proxy connections as well as SSL and Kerberos GSS security. Additional features include keep alive, auto ascii/binary transfer, download queue, manual transfers, raw FTP commands and more.

+ Custom action to perform after queue completion
+ Add some confirmation dialogs

- Fix misplaced settings dialog
- Fix problems with remembering pane size
- Properly refresh local directory if downloading into newly created subdirectories

what a load of rubbish. you can't right click then view/edit files from within it's interface. back to version2 for me.

Version 3 is a complete rewrite because the code became unmanageable and buggy. Not all features have made it into version 3 yet, but I would imagine it'll get there eventually.

Still doesn't have a keep-alive feature.... gets disconnected way too fast when idle.

this is a solid free ftp program but i still think FlashFXP is the best on the market.

one of the major issues with FileZilla is no SSL support.... but for general use it's pretty good

Just thought I'd mention my experience importing from 2.x in case it may help someone. I exported from 2.x, but was unable to import the xml file. I was however able to import the xml file left in the old 2.x directory.
