There's no contest here if you ask me...
I've been a 2 year user of KISS before I switched to NOD32 a few months ago.
* But I'm already at the point where I'm wondering myself: "why didn't I made this switch 5 years ago??"
--> For me it's NOD32 all the way!!

- Still very unstable for me... I got tons of freezes and I had to disable the NOD32 service from safe mode in order to uninstall it... So back to 2.70 for now.

- I had problems with 2.7 with Vista 32 bit, freezing occasionally.
I filed a support ticket and they said it was an isolated incident...
Now the beta release fixed that issue (of course there was no guarantee or support with the beta - back then), but I moved to CA 2007 simply because it doesn't give me any problems.
And I moved because I simply don't like any kind of support structure that tells me this is an isolated incident and there is nothing they can do about it...
Funny thing... Computer Associates got it figured out... <g> -

- Well, its kinda understandable, if you have a huge userbase, and you get what seems like an isolated case, where no other user has reported a similar problem, its unreasonable to devote resources to fixing that spesific problem. Especially with computers theres a number of reasons why something doesn't work that is completely out of a developers hands.
Luckily for you there was probably nothing wrong with your spesific setup and an issue probably with other more common symptoms was fixed that also involved whatever was causing your problems.
----
Oh, and i just love NOD32, tried it due to rave reviews all over and the fact i was getting tired of AV software the used huge amounts of resources, where clunky and buggy etc etc.(I mostly have experience with Norton and the like...) After trying NOD32 i never looked back. It just sits there quietly and politely in the backround and does its job. And only buts in when its got something important to say.
(Other AV's tend to be more like "HEY! hi! hello, yea, here i am, keeping you "safe". *flex fake muscles and polish flashy sunglasses* I'll be standing over your shoulder all the time and reminding you every now and again that I'm here watching you...)

i used to hate the fact that some AV's did that until my nod32 subscription ran out.. Windows security center had to tell me that there was a problem updating my AV definitions...
