I hate them when they do that. Always with many versions a week later they post the same build as a or b. We have to download again the whole damn thing!

Yes, so? If you are socially maladjusted with a low-end internet connection please don't blame Nero.

Wish they made Nero 6 vista compatible.

The burning components (the Nero Burning Rom application itself) of Nero 6 work perfectly fine on Vista.

Yeah, Nero 7 lite is great, and they even have a Nero 7 micro.

If you need to have Nero 8, there is already a Nero 8 micro out there as well....

I've swithed to Power2go 6 . Cleaner smaller cheaper and faster.

This fixes an error I was getting with the original 8.1.1.0 when opening StartSmart.

Thanks for the update

If you only need a burning app there are plenty of others out there. Nero is suppose to be a do everything burning program.

exactly, like IMGBurn for DATA and Burrrn for AUDIO. (both load up very fast, best of all there both free)

i pretty much said screw nero as it got to bloated.... the nero slim/micro versions look good but i just got tired of nero in general as i would rather just use the programs mentioned above and be done with it as you aint gotta screw around entering cdkey's etc etc.

Nothing is as slim as Ghosthunter's CD/DVD Burning.

The new version of Nero has back up features that let you rest easy knowing your data is safe in case of a complete system crash or a damaged disc. Restore data from discs damaged due to burning errors.
