I know that Nod32 is popular because it is low on resources, but you need to think about other things also, Nod32 finally supports real-time archive scanning (a bit late if you ask me), but it still has the same problem as all the previous builds had, poor malware database. That is the main reason why it did so bad at all the new AV tests done including my own.
