According to Eset, they are in the process of updating their servers so give them a few minutes, or hours.

So is this going out over the auto updater now?
Mine is still 2.70.32 and says it's up to date when I press the update button...

Dude you need to have 3.0 first.

Yeah, I did it manually... update never works in NOD32.. it's always said it was up to date. I've just seen there was a 2.70.39.. it never even updated itself to that.

Just download the v3.x version and you v2.7 license details should work ok with it.

Go to the Eset web site and click on the "download" link then click on the button that says "Already purchased? Need a registered version? click here" and download the v3.x software. It should install ok over the top of your v2.7 licensed version.

I'm wondering what the firewall is like in the new NOD32 Security Suite? I'm currently running NOD32 AV plus ZoneAlarm Pro, but ZA is a bit of a resource hog and switching to Eset's firewall as part of their Security Suite might be a better option.

I am using NOD32 3.0 anti virus along with Comodo and it works great. ZA is useless.

Hello,

I looked at these publicly-available release notes and they said the release number is 3.0.560, not 3.0.056.

From reading the messages on ESET's web site, it looks like ESET NOD32 Antivirus v3.0 is a free upgrade to current NOD32 v2.70 users, but they have not started performing web updates yet so you need to manually download and install it over the current version of the software.

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

I've used this software for almost 3 years now. I've never had to contact customer support as it has always worked flawlessly. And as far as being an efficient app, using very little resources, not slowing down your system and not being overly intrusive, the program is second to none! I'm pleased to see that 3.0 (antivirus) still isn't bloated.

My code works fine.

Just downloaded and tried to install, being told midway through install that "windows had a fatal error". So had to perform a system restore. Suggest you be careful with this update for now.

After consultation with Eset had to downgrade my NOD 32 to an earlier version and then uninstall this before I could upgrade to 3.0. The main problem I was getting was that I could not uninstall my existing version completly either through control panel or manually.
So if you are have problems installing ver.3.0 download and install ver.2.7 first and then uninstall that.
