DVDFab HD Decrypter is a simple version of DVDFab Platinum. It copies entire DVD movie to hard disk, and removes all the protections (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS) while copying. It also comes with full HD-DVD and Blu-Ray support (Removes AACS).

What's New:
  • New: Added display of hard disk folder and ISO source in "Settings -> Info" window.
  • New: Updated profiles for iPod family and PSP to select device resolution by default, for "DVD to Mobile".
  • New: Updated language files.
  • Fix: Option "Remove annoying PGCs" may cause playback problem, like "300", (US).
  • Fix: A crash problem when splitting DVD in certain cases, like "Ratatouille", (US).
  • Fix: A reading error 102 at the end of cloning DVD in certain cases, like "Cars", (US).
  • Fix: Several errors 400(20 ...) when copying DVD in certain cases.
  • Fix: Option "Default output size" could not be saved correctly.
  • Fix: Option "Split by chapter" caused wrong output when chapter range is not started from first one, for "DVD to Mobile".
Limitations:
  • The Split, Customize, Clone, Merge and Write Data options are not available

Dvd Decryptor much? Even has similar name...but that was deemed ilegal and it's been reduced to floating around cyberspace...(Isnt Wiki kool! - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_Decrypter )

Shall test soon and see if it has any improvements over DVD Decryptor...nice little feature where you can merge multiple DVD's into one...handy for seasons of stuff if you don't mind the quality drop.

I don't think it got any better than DVD Decryptor was, but it sure does the job when you need to back up what you paid for or steal something you didn't.

Well, this one and AnyDVD are the only ones that can remove AACS from HD movies (BD & HD-DVD)...

DVDFab HD does not do any new AACS movies. Nor does it do BD.
