Nice!!!.....it's the best of the best: light on resources, small footprints, good protection....Eset Rules!!!

Ps:"fixed problem with installation on some systems", aren't they talking about vista 64x?....

Maybe. They surely aren't talking about the installation problems many people have (ESS).

"Rolling back action" ... "Setup ended prematurely"

This is the only program ever, that doesn't install on my totally normal Windows XP SP2 Professional. The programmers apparently aren't able to fix this.

It's junk.

I can't say that I agree because I had no issues what so ever. Plus, it seems to be the very lightest anti-virus I've ever used.

it seems that v3 have many problems and bugs, i guess i wait more time right know i stick with 2.70.39

i am wondering if the new v3 consumes more resources than the old one?

This is a little misleading the Trial version still downloads the .563 version which does fix a few issues over the initial release of the .551. I downloaded the .551 version and it worked great, Firewall setup is a little bit of a pain. But this really looks pretty good from the NOD32 folks...

Bought this the day it came out and it is GREAT.

Only one issue for me and that is torrents seem very slow and ESET support don't seem to understand how the rules for utorrent should be setup

I tried Eset Smart Security and Nod32 3.0.563 and both of them caused Azureus.exe and System combined (about 50-50) to hog 90-100% CPU. I added Azureus.exe to the exclusion list for IMON and AMON and it made no difference. I even disabled every module (AV and firewall) and nothing changed - bizarre I know. Stopping torrents in Azureus resulted in the CPU usage going back to normal, though still higher than 2.7. I've never seen any program cause System to hog the CPU. XP SP2, Athlon XP 2500.

Until that is fixed I'll be sticking with 2.7.

nod32 and imon module always had an issue with azureus so its nothing new try utorrent...

I haven't had any trouble with 2.7.

Perhaps I'm just having one of my dense moments, but I'm understanding you to write that you tried ESS and NOD32 3.0.563. You go on to write that you added Azureus.exe to the exclusion list for IMON and AMON and it made no difference. That's pretty interesting because ESET NOD32 3.0.563 does not have IMON OR AMON modules any more. If you indeed did this, and I don't doubt you, you did so on ESET NOD32 version 2.7, which means you are commenting on the older version.

Perhaps you will want to actually download NOD32 3.0 and then reassess your appraisal.

Azureus is junk anyways. Been using Limewire for years. Finds everythihng I need. NOD32 3.0 is the best product I have paid for since Windowblinds years ago.
