No word on which applications it monitors??

There is no lsit of supported application.

The concept is, if at least 1 users "checks" a software for update, this one get instantly supported by SUMo database.
The more people use use, the more product will be supported.

.exe files often include their www addresses in the resources. Will they be supported anytime?

th3rEsa : As there is no "formalism" on the use of www addresses in the exe files properties, I have to find a workaround...

At least it's much better than UpdateStar, which shows newer versions that are exactly the same ones i have installed.
