BS.Player ™ is used by more than 60 million multimedia fans throughout the world and it has been translated into more than 90 languages. All the downloaded versions of our FREE version exceed the sum of all the downloads of competitive players and payable solutions. Because it does not use much of the processing power it is suitable for all those who use slightly less capable computers. Enjoy the multimedia playback of the highest quality. Last, but not least - BS.Player ™ media player is a product for the world public, so it is equipped with a treasury of subtitle options which enable the users to watch video content with subtitles from many popular subtitle formats (.sub, .srt, .vobsub...).

BSplayer is video player that supports almost any existing video and audio data formats, such as: DIVX, AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, XVID, 3IVX, OGM, MATROSKA , ASF, WMV, DV, M1V, M2V, MOV, MP4, MPV, QT, RM, SWF, VOB and WAV, MPA, MP1, MP2, MP3, OGG, AAC, AC3, AIF, RAM, WMA...

What's New:
  • fixed improperly functional CD-TEXT support
  • fixed problems with 'Enqueue', after enqueue playlist was reset to first item
  • sometimes media library didn't add custom extensions, fixed
  • Matroska files (MKV) can now also be played from uncompressed rar archives
  • improved Vista and EVR support
  • some other bug fixes and changes

yes, bull**** indeed.
"All the downloaded versions of our FREE version exceed the sum of all the downloads of competitive players and payable solutions" a rather lame head-up-ass attitude, I would place money on winamp kicking this BS's download amounts anyday, anyway just because people download things doesn't mean they use them, never heard of an uninstaller...

Doesn't that just refer to the K Lite codec packs, which installed BSPlayer by default? I don't think they do it anymore, but when using K-Lite, I think I had to make sure they didn't include that application in the install.

Anyone else remember if this was true?

GOM Player is better in every aspect than BSPlayer + GOM Player is FREE!

Indeed, GOM Player is awesome. I found it a few months ago and it has replaced Media Player Classic on my system.

sounds like a good player... BUT since it has "adware" i think that automatically makes it worse than the FREE KMplayer... since KMplayer plays just about any format out there to.

only flaw i found on KMPlayer so far is on dvd's it has trouble randomly skipping forward to where i want in a video where as MPC (Media Player Classic) dont... but other than that it's great.

Used to be good for subtitles, until Media Player Classic was released.

MPC is just ok i guess, you still need to pollute your system with loads of codec craps.
#11.1 vetbangbang023 on 26 Dec 2007 - 00:51
MPC w/ FFDSHOW and you're set.

I'm using for a while BsPlayer and , in my opinion, is the greatest player because is equipped with a extensive subtitle options which enable the users to watch video content with subtitles from many popular subtitle formats. I got it from here: BsPlayer
