µTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in µTorrent, including bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, RSS auto-downloading and Mainline DHT (compatible with BitComet). Additionally, µTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange. µTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 220 KB in size.

"Alpha is not interesting for the general audience", meaning, it's not interesting to YOU. Who are you to say what's "interesting"? µTorrent is the most popular Bit Torrent client, so, it would be interesting to a lot of people *myself included*.
This story is on Neowin, I wouldn't exactly call this site's readers the "general audience". It isn't like this story is on cnn.com or msn.com and Aunt Sally or my mother would read it.
Do you feel the need to have your hand held regarding what software to install and avoid installing on your computer? "I saw it on Neowin, so I downloaded it and installed it. Now, I don't know why my private torrent site is blocking me." *sigh*
Bottom line: alpha software isn't for the average computer user but some people would like to at least know a new version of

You're insulting our intelligence to suggest that simply displaying alpha software on Neowin will make people download and install it. It's alpha; if you don't know the risks involved, then you deserve everything that should happen to your computer.

I think it's a pretty arrogant attitude you display. I sincerely hope you don't perform any work that concerns the general (EDIT: any) public. And if you're in IT (such as I), you still need some courses to loose your tunnelvision.
