iTunes is a great music player and organizer. Unfortunately iTunes is made to only synchronize with iPods. Not everyone own an iPod, though Apple certainly would have loved that. Winamp!? WINAMP!?!?!??! And you use Foobar too!? Get rid of Winamp... There's no reason to have it if you have Foobar...
Oh, and it was only a half-truth that the iTunes thing referred to - it is a great auto-organizer for those that are too lazy to organize their music. As for a player...I'm not so fond of it. That's why I recently switched to Foobar2000, and now I love it. Foobar is also fully portable from one (Windows) workstation to another (Windows) workstation.
