Media Player Classic is an extremely light-weight media player for Windows. It looks just like Windows Media Player 6.4, but has many additional extra features. MPC has, for instance, a built in DVD player with real-time zoom, support for AVI subtitles, QuickTime and RealVideo support (requires QT and/or Real player); built-in MPEG2/SVCD/DVD codec. It also supports SVCD/CVD selectable subtitles and lots more. The best part about Media Player Classic is the ability to modify the filters when playing your favorite video files.

And where did you read this version is beta? Plus, it's an official release, off course.
Anyway, you just need to look at the Download file name to understand (i hope) what means the "title".

I got it from here: http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Media...XP/1045531002/1

Then that site is wrong.
It's simple, there's no "Beta" on the release notes, Download file name/description and in the application.

I mean no offense when I say this, but I trust their site more than a random person who posts application news on Neowin.
I could also say "there's no "Final" on the release notes, Download file name/description and in the application." but hey maybe I am wrong...

EDIT: Seems, not, as Homecinema has a lot more features in the options. Although I may be wrong, just had a quick look, nothing in depth

Guliverkli2 MPC updates by CLSID:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli2/
ffdshow tryouts by CLSID and others:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/
http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/
MPC - Homecinema adds support for EVR. I think he uses the builds from CLSID.

And MPC is quite fast compared to VLC... using XviD and ffmpeg, I don't care about VLC.
ive used both
and MPC is way better
the interface its bad, the way it handle subtitle its horrible, have issues with MKV only good thing about it its that it works for linux and mac but for windows theres so many good alternatives
Has clsid2 given up on MPC as well? That message seems to imply that he has.
MPC does everything it needs to do, simple, fast, and useful. What else does it need?!
Klite pack is crap comparing to FFDShow Tryouts. I highly suggest you switch over
You won't regret it!
