This DVD5 ISO image file contains the security updates for Windows released on Windows Update on January 8th, 2008. The image does not contain security updates for other Microsoft products. This DVD5 ISO image is intended for administrators that need to download multiple individual language versions of each security update and that do not use an automated solution such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). You can use this ISO image to download multiple updates in all languages at the same time.

Important: Be sure to check the individual security bulletins at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security prior to deployment of these updates to ensure that the files have not been updated at a later date.

System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Service Pack 4; Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1; Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 for Itanium-based Systems; Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2; Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 x64 Edition; Windows Server 2003, Datacenter x64 Edition; Windows Server 2003, Enterprise x64 Edition; Windows Server 2003, Standard x64 Edition; Windows Vista; Windows Vista Business 64-bit edition; Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit edition; Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition; Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition; Windows XP Professional x64 Edition ; Windows XP Service Pack 2

#1.1 Slimy on 08 Jan 2008 - 19:29
Nah, these were available way before Neowin was told to remove Autopatcher from the forums

AutoPatcher is still alive and kicking... and legal too Just go to autopatcher.com and you'll see

Can you be a bit more specific? I can't see any download links or tutorials that pop out at me...
Edit...
I think I kinda found it in the forum announcement section.

A service pack by definition will have all the previous updates included.

That is correct, it takes a few months of testing a service pack during which major changes would make the previous testing irrelevant, so any patches issued after a deadlock date are not integrated. There will be quite a few patches available even after a clean installation of XP SP3 on release.

how many updates does it have for every windows version? all up to this day?
#4.1 +M2Ys4U on 09 Jan 2008 - 16:21
No, this ISO only contains this month's updates.

This is nothing like Autopatcher, it's not what a lot of people seem to think it is either. These are ONLY the patches released this month, nothing else. It's a huge ISO because it includes versions of each patch for every single supported language. As it says, this is just for administrators that don't use Windows Update.

LOL, and I couldn't stop jumping because I thought it was somewhat similar to autopatcher. but well...

Looks dead to me. It hasn't been updated since February 2007 and there's no announcement that Microsoft changed their minds. I'm just looking forward to SP3 so I can slipstream it into my install CD and be done with it.

I thaught that site had been shut down as well - great! autopatcher rocks!!! ;-)

Seems kind of goofy to me to use another tool/program, especially one this huge, just to get updates that you can get right from the horses a**, I mean mouth!!

Is this something that somehow bypasses WGA so you can update pirated copies of Windows? Seems to be the only way it would be useful, at times, to me.

For those who want a decent alternative to Autopatcher until it is out of beta, try CTUpdate. This makes update ISOs (either individual or combined) for multiple languages and multiple OSs (and now includes Office updates). I've been using this since the last Autopatcher releases (August I think).
