All CD/DVD/BD or HD DVD drives are supported.
However, not all drives support the following functions:
Disc Quality, Advanced Disc Quality, TA Jitter and Bitsetting
*bzzzt* They dropped the Disc Quality support for my Pioneer drive. It worked fine, but I'm stuck using 4.7.5.0.

so in other words as far as scanning your discs for it's quality it's generally inaccurate.
drives like Lite-On (which i have a Lite-on 1673S) - BenQ etc etc are good scanners for checking the quality of the burns you make.
