I've used it for quite a while, but as I never get malware of any description I can't comment on its effectiveness. However, I've read many reports showing this utility in a very favourable light.

this program doesnt par up against all its other free alternatives.
weak detection and an ugly gui...

Too many false positives. It always tells me that Gamespy is spyware. All new versions still do this. I use SAS and ST.
