ATI had such a great driver page once. I liked the boxes that let you choose your hardware, OS, etc and it pointed you to the right driver. I can't believe what a pathetic mess AMD has made it.

Are you talking about this http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html ?

Yeah, there it is. I guess it still exists; why isn't Neowin linking to that page instead of the ugly black page?

Because you will be redirected to the black page after you select your video card, unless you use a very old graphic card.

Any word on whether or not this disables Direct3D acceleration on AGP video cards? (Radeon 9550)

Have you tried the 8.1 HotFix? It should fix the problem your having.

I have had the same problem and I have been using omegadrivers ever since the official ATI drivers stopped working with AGP-cards. I Installed drivers this morning but I didn't have the time to test them.

Just wanna know... If I had an X800GTO PCI-E with 256 MB's ... This driver suits for it???
#7.1 EL1TE on 17 Jan 2008 - 16:25
Sure!

I've replaced the link to the old one so users will now what it's the latest driver for their hardware, sorry for those which aren't sure about if they hardware was supported.

the think I dont like about these last packages is that they dont let u choose between agp and pci-e anymore, it just assumes the latter so if you have agp the driver doesnt work, I'll wait for the omega version, thanks
