Thanks!! I love this AV it's the best

Note to users of previous versions: You must uninstall the previous version and restart your computer before installing ESET NOD32 Antivirus or ESET Smart Security.

Actually, if you are using a previous build of NOD32 3.0, you do not have to uninstall it first. It is only if you are using a 2.x version. When using a 3.0 build, run this installer and choose the option to "use current settings" and it will upgrade the current version. Not even a reboot is needed afterwards!

i wish they would do an automatic update, it's tedious uninstalling the old version and installing the new version

If you have paid for the program and download the latest version from their password protected website instead of the trial version it will let you upgrade without uninstalling first.

Vista Sp1 RTM is still reporting a security alert that NOD 32 Virus is reporting to Security Center in a format that is no longer supported. I had hoped that this update would have corrected that. Hopefully as SP1 becomes more widely available over the next couple of months ESET will make the change.

I've used both v.621 and v.642 on Vista SP1 and never seen that message.

Are you running the RC or the RTM in which case you would have had to buy a new computer in the past week +/- and are likely also having a problem with Hybrid Sleep?

I'm using the RTM (downloaded from Windows Update with the reg hack that's been floating around). I can't comment on any sleep problems as I don't use it, sorry.

Well I tried to play Q4,BF2 and COD4 and they would not play. I had this problem back with another release of NOD32 3.0. Why cant Eset make NOD32 3.0 as good as 2.7. I am glad they still offer 2.7.
