RogueRemover FREE is a utility that can remove various rogue antispyware, antivirus and hard drive cleaning utilities. Rogue applications are applications that rather than remove spyware, provide false positives, distribute malware or spyware, advertise, or provide useless uninstallers. The main point is that rogue applications are useless and eat up system resources. It also has the ability to completely remove WinAntiSpyware/WinAntiVirus, SpyAxe, VirusBlast, VirusBursters and many more!

Simply download the free version from the one of the links below, unzip the file, and run the installer. Start the program and select Scan and the program will walk you through the remaining steps.

Important Note: The applications listed in RogueRemover are listed there only by opinion of the authors of RogueRemover. The users of RogueRemover are in no way forced, but suggested, to remove the detected applications.

Compatible with Windows 2000, NT, XP, Vista

Changes in Version 1.24:
  • Changed version tab information.
  • Improved Rogue.Infector detection.

Anyone tried this? Any good? And is it a replacement for Spybot/Adaware or should I not bother?

The techs that post at Lunarsoft speak highly of it, but would keep Spybot and Ad-Aware too.

Thats the Spyware Terminator icon !!

I've tried Spybot SD, Spyware Terminator, SuperAntispyware..

So far SuperAntispyware has detected and found and removed more trojans\cookies than the later two.
