Beware this driver.[u]

I would stay with the 8.2's. I have a 3870 x2 and crossfire is disabled on this driver.

My 3dmark06 score went from 18119 to 13100 running xp pro sp2.

Its also a nightmare to uninstall, will not let me roll back to the 8.2.

Gonna have to reformat

B0GiE you tired: http://www.drivercleaner.net/ ?

It's always worked well for me, but maybe AMD made some big changes. Might be worth a shot.

I'd like to see some benchmarks with this new driver. They're giving out some pretty big performance numbers about, it'd be great if they hold true.

Once installing this driver, I no longer had a 'Crossfire' section in my CCC, and ATi Tray Tools doesn't recognise the ability to do it either, gah!

I used DriverCleaner too, even...

After installing the graphics driver an error message is no longer displayed
when attempting to launch DirectX based games when using an ATI AGP
product. Further details can be found in topic number 737-31625

Is this for real? Has anybody tried it on an AGP card?

I dont know why this driver is so good yet so bad. ATi messed ti up again!

Anyone know how to overcome the issues please post. It will not work in x-fire for me on my 3870x2.

Have also come across some new drivers similar to Omega drivers. Work quite well:
