Indeed, I guess people are just that paranoid. You've surely got to be doing something really evil (muahaha) to have to use a proxy to surf the net.
... You have to pay for the BETA?!?!?! I think the word is just getting lost in translation as
"Beta: (adj.) 'We haven't found all the bugs yet, but use it, and when it doesn't work anymore, let us know'"
