'probably' the best FREE ftp app out there (give or take)

but overall i still prefer FlashFXP as it just has more features and always works unlike filezilla which seems like it can act up on certain places etc.

I still prefer SmartFTP over this. Main reasons are tabbed browsing and the ability to disable the local view.

I like smartftp but from time to time some tabs will refuse to open/close, specially with a unconnected session.

SmartFTP 64-bit FTW

True-this is a GREAT OPEN SOURCE ftp solution for Client and server. One thing I have noticed is that if you plan on using Filezilla for a home server I have had a lot less grief and errors when you use the Filezilla Server for simple ftp functions. FlashFXP still is better in a lot of enterprise/3rd party ftp server configurations IMHO.
