$40 for something I could quite easily do with WinRAR? Come on...

WinRAR extracts the temporary files to a temp dir by default. Unless you direct that temp dir into a Truecrypt unit.

WinRAR no, but it is $40 for something that TrueCrypt can do for free (and more).

I'm not even going to try this unless it comes with a beautiful princess.

Unfortunately, I don't think it does.
