Nice. With the release of this, now they no longer offer their freeware edition.

... which is even more reason to switch to the best burning app for data (which is free) ImgBurn ( www.imgburn.com )

for audio... Burrrn ( www.burrrn.net is official site but is down... try here instead... http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/...ng/Burrrn.shtml )

cause bottom line is 49.99 is alot to pay for software when free software (like i mentioned above) is just as good if not better pretty much.

ImgBurn also support audio, however you need to create a cue sheet first. Here is the guide: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555

ImgBurn is nice, but it doesn't do simultaneous image writing. That would be nice to have.

Don't quite understand why anybody would want or care for Parallel erasing? Please tell me.

If I have a disk that I don't want anybody to ever read, I cut it in half with heavy duty scissors. Why would I want to erase?

Is the parallel erasing for CDrw?

Great deal of software! And it burns Blu-ray too! COOL!

no offense or anything but who really cares much about blu-ray burning? ... cause almost NO ONE besides super rich people would burn blu-ray discs right now cause the drives/discs are still WAY to expensive especially the discs.... it's just not practical to burn blu-ray right now or even close to it.

Windows Vista CD/DVD burner is better with 'Live File System*' It's easy & free too & don't req. additional disk space or something. And for Audio burning i have Windows Media Player & for HD-Video/VCD/VHS/DVD Video buring i got Windows(Vista) DVD Burner. So i'm advising if u got Vista Home/Ultimate don't spend money buying any 3rd Party Burning Software.

*Windows Vista's Live file System: A file storage system that can be used to create CDs and DVDs. Discs formatted with Live File System allow you to copy files to the disc at any time, instead of copying (burning) them all at once like Floppy or Memory Card. Works with CD-R, CD+R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, or DVD-RAM. For More visit: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/e...806cbe1033.mspx

Microsofts built in burning software is pretty much a joke compared to free stuff like ImgBurn or other commercial burning apps.

Maybe u didn't use Windows Vista's Built-in burner. Ya! I prefer Nero for Advance Burning.
