The official pronounciation of Quero is ['kwir-o] or ['kwer-o] and is derived from the Latin verb "quaere" (to search), "quaero" (I search). Also think about the Spanish "quiero" (I love).
Quero actually makes IE x64 more useable, since its built-in Flash blocker prevents that the information bar pops up and informing you that Flash is not installed all the time you encounter a page with Flash.
