As much as I despise how bloated Nero has become, and exactly why I still use version 6.6.0.14, this thing is nowhere near as good!!

Well is it becoming more to Nero?
#3 +stevember on 22 Jun 2008 - 13:36
Nope far from it. Best I've found, simple to use but does it all.

Been using since v6.

even though i hear good things about Ashampoo...

i still prefer the ImgBurn (for DATA) + Burrrn (for AUDIO) combo for pretty much all my burning needs.

I dumped Nero for Ashampoo. Nero has become too much of an all-in-one but Ashampoo does everything I need without all the bells and whistles. It's never let me down.

I don't see how this should be better than any other (even free) burning app. It does not even support CD-Text for Audio-CDs. Apart from the fact that You are buried with spam-mails if You buy anything online from A(d)shampoo.

I agree 100%, I love the app. but after purchasing it I was bombarded by crap from them, I blocked their entire domain in the end as they would sent stuff from different accounts, and sadly I suspect they sold my email address on as shortly afterwards i went from 10-15 spam mails a day to around 200-300

Great app, hate the UI, I'd rather to use Nero tho, but if you're planning to burn anything in a easy and simple way, this is your burning app =)
#11 +King Mustard on 25 Jun 2008 - 17:19
Nero Burning ROM Micro all the way.

I hate the way Ashampoo work. Step by step UI is in past, specially for burning applications.
And 32 MB??? No way!
