STDU Converter is a program intended to convert DjVu and multi-pages TIFF files to PDF format.
DjVu, a computer file format designed primarily to store scanned images, has some advantages (for example, DjVu files weigh less than PDF files of the same quality) but isn’t widely used today. Most computer users all over the world prefer PDF file format. It’s also important to note, that modern hardware devices, such as PDA, PMP or E-books reader, are able to read PDF files by default. But in order to work with DjVu format it’s necessary to install an additional software (sometimes DjVu file format isn’t even supported by the device). So now it’s easier to store your e-books in PDF file format.
