That doesn't mean that they stop supporting older versions right away. I think you would be hard to find a software company that does.

Firefox 3.0.1 came out yesterday too.

im still using 2, dont like their awesomebar..fantasticbar... whatever the hell its called, i call it an address bar but 3's bar is all screwy. now if i could keep it as an address bar i might go to 3, but not as it is now

I would probably say that most people probably have, but there are those that can't use Fx3.0 for whatever reason. The same applies to IE. IE7 has been out for what... nearly 2 years now, and a over 25% of IE users are still using version 6.

You do know that you can change it to behave like FF 2's toolbar...

People still use 2 because their OS doesn't support 3.

If you're still using 2 when you could be using 3 however... that is just strange. :p
