So many advances to try and tackle Google's stronghold! So many things I see that Microsoft come out with are in retaliation towards what Google already has!!!

Competition is good.

I like Google Web Search.

But now, I switched from Live Maps. Google Maps is outdated, and MapQuest is "just ok".

Image Search: I'm still evaluating, but in terms of ease-of-use and features, I'm liking Live Image Search. The coverage of Google Image Search is wider, so it's just a matter of time for Live Image Search to index more photos.

Live News is better than Google News. Live News is cleaner.

Other than those I mentioned above, I still like the rest of the Google services.

I'm telling you, competition is good. When Linux tried competing with Windows,
Microsoft was motivated to make Windows more secure.
Until now, no one has hacked Vista in a direct manner not blended threats.

Microsoft hasn't innovated in years. I remember back in the mid to late 1990's that MS was looked at to innovate new technologies. Everyone eyed MS because of their innovation.

now, since then MS has gone from innovating to playing catch up. I honestly think that LINUX is innovating and giving MS a run for their money. webmaster tools? bleh- MS is again late for the party.

Thank you for this useless comment .. Microsoft has admitted a thousand times now that it's playing catch up in the online (searching) world..

well I simply madea comment not based on what MS has said 1,000 times before but, for the record, my comment was right.

lol, I find it funny that Microsoft is looked upon to lead the way in just about every area. They're just one company. I realize they are a big company, but you can't expect one company to come up with ALL the ideas, can you?
