The 3.x series of Backup4all was a fantastic product. Hopefully this new version will continue this tradition. Good to see it's still under active development, I'll certainly buy the new version if it's as good as the old. The only feature I'd really like to see is stronger compression, probably 7-zip to remain open format.

Glad you like Backup4all. As for the compression, right now we're using standard zip compression and it comes with different levels of compression (from normal to best compression). The reason we haven't switched to 7zip is the fact that they're not supported by Windows (which can open zip files up to 2 gb) without having 7zip installed. If this will be supported we'll switch in the future.

Certainly does. Very user friendly with the prices too.
Is it possible to backup and restore 'Previous Versions...' like in Windows?
If using FTP will it know if a file hasn't changed and therefore skip the file?

*Edit*

Ah...

Version Tracking
Backup4all is a backup software that offers a unique mode to track file versions. You can selectively restore any previous version of a backed up file directly from the main window.

*Edit* #2

I just went and ordered the Pro version of this. You should maybe highlight that customers will be given version 4 if they order version 3 from this point onwards.

Thank you. Actually there's a 3 month grace period so users that purchased in June would get the free upgrade too.

Hands down the best backup software, at least among the affordable ones.
