This used to be my default browser for years. Starting with version 5 something! Have to admit, IMO, probably still the most secure browser by default, DEFINITELY the fastest, but since version 9, it is just to herky jerky surfing around, and there's gotten to be WAY to many websites that don't work correctly with it. Yes, I know, you can work around that most of the time, but it's just not worth it anymore, for me.

Do still recommend and install it on quite a few machines, especially the people I can't convince to use Seamonkey or Kmeleon. You will never hear me recommend Firefox to anyone intentionally though!

Crash Problem. No plugin support though it's a big fact. it's main problem is it's can't render Gmail like web site correctly. I give it 0.5 out of 5 compared to Google Chrome or IE

0.5 out of 5? are you not exaggerating a bit? i'll could understand a 4.5 or a 4 maybe, but i think you do not have no reason for such a low score... and gmail renders perfectly for me...

And if you still do not know, Opera is the browser that reach higher in the AC3 tests http://acid3.acidtests.org/

ya. but it's Presto engine is not too good. Webkit with Google Chrome rules. Opera was good when it was v 7. I used it. but now it's poor compared to IE or Chrome. It usages less memory but it hangs

I think u o see Opera's market share. Million ppl can't be wrong

I'm sorry, but do not say anything meaningful here. What proof have you to say that?

Million of people use IExplorer as the main browser... could you say IE is better than any other browser?

I'll could agree that chrome or firefox are better than Opera (is a matter of taste), but say that Opera deserves 0.5 points out of 5 is a nonsense.

note: please, do not mis understand me, i am not a Opera user. (i am a FF fan :p)

I can't remember the last time I had Opera crash and I pretty much use it 7/7 - yet more FUD from Faisal?

I love Opera and will stick with it until it completely fails me. One thing does bother me and that is some sites simply do not work with it Neowin now keeps me logged in finally on this new version of the site (Hmmm) and the Klipsch forum it refuses to let me login FF I can get in no problem but Opera use to work before 9.5

I think I fixed the login to Klipsch forum but it doesn't make any sense... still testing

9.6 is not bad but I have had the issue where it will hang on a site but hit reload and its fine. but yes some sites do not stay loged in at all but for right now it's not a big problem
