Still using Nero because it's been very reliable for so long. Currently using Nero 8.
Nero attaches itself to almost everything (the updater had issues) and even the simple burner is bloated. I have used Nero for *years* and have found that the designers are not interested in what other people want... their main goal is to charge a horrendous fee for a main stream app (even if someone wants just a basic burner) and to continue in that direction.
Bottom line... if you want just a burner look at other vendors beside Nero (BurnAware is a good alternative); if you want a burner with all of the music file editing capabilities then Nero is your application.

It failed misserably! I will just stick with Nero cos it never disappointed me, long live Nero!
Nero may be bloated but at least when it says it dose something it really DOSE that. Besides, anyone can get Nero Lite or Nero Micro packages as aren't bloated, have just what is needed to burn some CD/DVD with images, data, music, video, and so on.
Unless you pay for the better version, boo
