Win7 is not a priority for them at the moment as the official beta version is still 7000
When a new official beta build is released nVidia may release another driver update. As it stands it is not worth their resources to update the drivrs on a regular basis until the OS is released.
Heh. I don't have any crashes. Anyways I believe the RC may be right around the corner so they should definately make it a priority soon.
Windows 7 drivers will come down through Windows Update.
Yep, Nvidia (for the time being) are releasing Win7 drivers exclusively through Windows Update and don't worry I'm sure the Win7 drivers aren't too far away

Regardless I'm moving to AMD for graphics from now on, nvidia has lost their driver quality since my purchase of the old FX5500, 6800XT, and now 7600GT.
i got a Geforce 7900GT myself which i got back in March 2006 (which was fairly high end at the time) ... i think they should support it til at least mid 2010 MINIMUM. (basically it should be supported until it's pretty much clearly outdated for running games is what im saying)
i can understand them not supporting the Geforce 5xxx series since those are pretty much ancient now and cant realistically run new games... but anything Geforce 6xxx series or better (or especially Geforce 7xxx+) should still be supported for a while.

I have an XFX PVT73AUDE3 which is the 7600GT for AGP. Only deal with this is that it is a heckload faster and stable overall compared to the 7800GS. This has approximately the same specs as a PCI-E variant. 256MB GDDR3 and dual DVI, no vga

Stop living in the past. GF7 cards are AGP, the newer cards are PCIe and have been for around 2+ years now. It is your prerogative to move to AMD etal, but you are still using an older platform which will not be supported under Win7 when it is finally released.
Get with the times and upgrade fully your hardware, then you will not have the issues you are having now.

This is my old build you know. If it runs Aero fine then it won't be discontinued until probably a new series coming out. I have a laptop with C2D P8600 and 9600M GT
Is there some problems with your current drivers that prompt you to be angry you can't upgrade?
The bulk of the new driver features, like Physix, requires more VRAM and horsepower than was on the GeForce 7...
If your current drivers work then why complain?
