  • Windows 7 RC support
  • Favorites are deleted to recycle bin
  • Email notification feature supports secure SMTP (e.g. for Gmail)
  • SSH: Support for Smart card authentication
  • Support for environmental variables (e.g. %appdata%) in Local Browser
Bug Fixes
  • Backup Tool failed to restore favorites

For Windows I dont know anymore. Could be Filezilla since its free.

yep, its filezilla, free and has potable version.

i use Fireftp plugin for FF3

only because smartftp stop the free version
Coreftp can be another one

I use WinSCP now since SmartFTP stop being free.

Love SmartFTP; I still use it over the other guys, to me, it seems more intuitive and innovative on my desktop
