I used to be a loyal user, till it started crashing all the time, even on fresh installs of windows. Does anyone use this? Has the crashing issue gone away?

Not sure on the crashing but I shall be returning to Maxthon when version 3 come out as it can do stuff that FF can't or doesn't do well. There is an alpha build but it's not really usable.

Eh, I've been using the Maxthon 3 alpha for weeks now and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. Besides some rendering issues here and there of course.

I used to love this browser way back before switching to FF (but I've since switched to IE8 for several reasons). It really is nice for using the IE engine, but previous versions always had several issues: Quite often its process would stay in memory after exiting; it would completely freeze now and then; the ad blocker is great but other addons can be quite sloppy or have bugs (not to mention the addons site is one of the worst, more than half the stuff being in Japanese for some reason??). Anyway, maybe v3 will be worth a look whenever that comes out.

It is probably Chinese as Maxthon was developed by a Chinese programmer.

This build seems pretty stable for me.
Still have problems with the new Youtube channel design though.
