Some Turtle Beach Xbox One headsets affected by mold have been recalled

Turtle Beach has announced a recall program for a particular batch of the Ear Force XO FOUR stealth headset due to mold contamination.

It has been revealed by the gaming headset maker that some Ear Force XO headsets manufactured between April and June 2015 and sold through retailers in the United States and Canada have been found to contain mold spores. As a result, the company has asked users to check the batch code and send the headset back to the company for replacement.

According to the official recall website, the affected headsets contain the production codes from C16 to C25 in their serial number. The location of the serial number is shown in the image below.

This isn't the first time a company has issued a recall due to health risks caused by its products, but often times it isn't a proactive measure and it's good to see Turtle Beach replace the headsets for all the customers from the batch.
