Soyo says no truth to takeover rumours

On August 2, 2004 a publication by DigiTimes claimed that SOYO was taken over by investors. However this report is not true according to the president of SOYO Ming Chok.

This popular distributor of motherboards, computer peripheral, barebone systems, and wireless networking products assured the public that the report over at the DigiTimes is false. With this rumor put to rest this Canadian company can continue to expand its product line by offering new and exciting products for its shareholders and customers. Recently announced products such as computer connectors and heat dissipation modules.

Though personally I'm not a fan of SOYO products, it's good to see SOYO expand its product line. So far the DigiTimes hasn't responded to SOYO's claim that it wasn't taken over by investors, but when they do we can put this rumor to rest.
