Steam Link priced at just $2.50; receives 95% discount to clear out remaining inventory

Earlier we reported that Valve's Steam Link was going to be discontinued. At the time, it was priced for retail, selling for $49.99. Luckily, it looks like the firm has had a change of heart and has reduced the price for one last hurrah, offering the device for $2.50, which is 95 percent off its retail price.

Despite it being removed from the store and being discontinued, Valve has promised to continue supporting the unit with future updates. If you choose to purchase a unit, be aware that shipping times could be higher than normal, due to high order volumes. At the time of writing, it should take around four to eight days for it to be delivered.

Of course, you'll only be paying just $2.50 for the device, but you will also have to pay $7.99 for the shipping. If you think this would be a wise investment or you just simply want to add this piece of gaming history into your collection, you can head to Steam's website to make your purchase. The offer is valid until November 27 or while supplies last.
