Was there any doubt that Steve Jobs would be the keynote speaker at Macworld. Did anyone honestly expect someone else to keynote.

Maybe they were thinking about Steve Ballmer and maybe doing an entire keynote on Office 2008 and how they delayed it because Vista sucked so hard they were afraid it would hurt Vista/Office 2007 sales lulz.

Agreed. We need more of this.

Goodie gumdrops.

The keynote is actually on my birthday. I think its a sign that I need to buy myself something shiny, new, and Apple branded as a present.

If you look forward to anything good from Microsoft, you need to care about Apple. MacWorld is where the rest of the industry goes for a seminar.

Seminar on what? Childish behavior and blind worship?

Childish behavior and blind worship?

Surprising - that enthusiasts for the Apple brand go to Mac World. Here was me naively thinking they'd just rope general members of the public in who couldn't care less about the brand because of cause they're bound to get an excellent audience reception from them.

If they wanted childish behaviour or blind worship, they could just come and stick their heads into any Windows Vista or Apple discussion thread on here.

You know, for an event based on a brand that is known for its unique and excellent looks, they have one crappy logo. C'mon Apple, suggest a new logo; let see some reflections or something in there!
