While Microsoft may be promoting its newly revamped corporate logo, its design seems very similar to an image that Microsoft first released in 1995 to promote Windows 95.

The new logo for Microsoft has already been put in place at the newly launched Microsoft Store retail location in Boston, along with other Microsoft Stores in the US.
After 25 years, Microsoft has updated its logo for the first time, bringing forward a design we had already seen in some promotional slides relating mainly to Windows 8 but weren't yet official.
Just when we thought we had Microsoft's new marketing strategy figured out, it turns out that not only is Metro not going to be called Metro, but their new 'logo' isn't really a logo at all.
