Nokia has announced that it will release a white version of its Meego-based N9 smartphone sometime before the end of 2011, beginning with the 64 GB version. The N9 will also be get a software update.
The online US-based retailer Expansys is selling an unlocked version of Nokia's N9 smartphone, with the Meego operating system, to US residents but its a pricey option.
Nokia has started shipping its N9 smartphone in parts of Europe today. The smartphone, powered by the Meego operating system, will not sold in the US.
