Barnes and Noble has quietly reduced the prices of its 8 GB Nook Color and the 8 and 16 GB Nook tablet devices, with the 16 GB Nook Tablet now selling for just $199.
Barnes and Noble announced that it is now started selling an 8 GB version of its Nook Tablet for the price of $199, matching the price of Amazon's 8 GB Kindle Fire tablet.
As expected, Barnes and Noble announced the Nook Tablet device today which goes on sale next week for $249. The current Nook Color gets a price cut to $199 and a new Nook Simple Touch for $99.
