In a somewhat surprising move, Posterous has today announced that they have been acquired by Twitter, in what appears to be a move to acquire Posterous' talent rather than technology.
Micro-blogging platform Posterous has secured a considerable amount of funding via numerous investors, after its most recent redesign.
