To remove hassles related to switching to a different category from the Videos tab on YouTube, the video-sharing service is rolling out separate tabs for Shorts, live streams, and long-form videos.

YouTube has launched handles which will provide every creator with a unique handle name. This will ensure that the audience knows whether or not they are watching their desired creator.

Creators who are downloading Shorts using the YouTube Studio on desktop will soon start seeing watermarks on their videos. This is to ensure viewers across other platforms can become aware of Shorts.

TikTok is gradually allowing its content creators to record and upload longer-length videos, stretching up to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, social media platforms are adopting TikTok's successful formula.

TikTok has been fined a huge sum of money by the Dutch DPA, a sum total of €750,000, for not appropriately communicating its app's data privacy and usage policy, in accordance with the EU's GDPR.
