A new technology aims at giving multi-touch displays a more physical look and feel, hopefully solving one of the main issues of the touch technology when data and text entry is involved.
New York City will replace phones in 250 of its outside phone booths with 32 inch touch screens that will offer local information. If successful, all 12,800 outside phone booths would get the upgrade.
