The popular mapping, traffic and navigation app Waze has officially made its debut on Windows Phone 8, after a lengthy closed beta period. It's now available for download from the Windows Phone Store.
The Waze app team have indicated that the long awaited Windows Phone version is getting closer to launch as closed beta testers have been told that the final beta build has been made available.
Google acquired the crowd sourcing Waze traffic reporting app back in June for a cool $966 million and has started to roll it out to Google Maps; but there's no sign of the Windows Phone version.
