Google is reportedly putting in an additional $200 million to invest in the creation of original content for its YouTube service, after seeing some success from its earlier efforts in this area.

YouTube has officially announced its plans to offer up more original video content on its site, partnering with a number of well known media companies and creators. The launch will begin in November.
