I see that at least divine justice is taking place, Dennis Ritchie or Robert Galvin are more important deaths, yet everyone is trying to expand it as much as possible to remark the importance of such persons, because image cannot opaque importance... I already have said RIP to Jobs, now is turn to the truly important people to be commemorated, RIP Dennis Ritchie and Robert Galvin.

Wonder how future would change if someone went back in time and killed steve jobs mum. Would planets never exist, would galaxies implode, would the universe unravel by a wave of Z neutrinos flattened by an alignment of planets!! Who knows

Even the OBAMA suck up to him by saying Jobs a great innovator just because OBAMA is using iPad 2 to read newspaper. And iPad 2 was a gift from Steve Jobs. If OBAMA sees it this way, he has serious problem of knowing how to run American economy. Yes, time for a change. No 4 more year! America has enough.

After all iPad 2 is made in china, design in California.

Man I am getting so sick of people talking about how much Steve Jobs was a creative genius and a visionary and the most influential person of all time......Steve Jobs dies and the whole world mourns, thousands die everyday of starvation and disease due to poverty and nobody cares.....For shame to all of you who are keeping up this ridiculous trend. That's the true reflection of the world. People go where there's money to be made and ignore the rest.

Regarding Jobs over Ritchie, nothing new here....imagery over substance. Heck, look at the US Presidents for the past 100 years and compare them to the humble ones in the 19th century. Now you know your disease, get rid of it.

What's with the nerd rage that comes with every Steve Jobs article? If you don't want to read it, then don't click on it. Some people have nothing better to do than to **** on the comments. I can't even read the comments with the hope of finding discussion relevant to the topic anymore, at least not if it's related to Apple in some way. If anything, the only thing that could eventually bring this site down is the trolls posting in the comments, not the news and editorials that are posted.

Wow, you really seem aggressive.
You go get some cool-aid.

There's no reason to rage at me in such a way.

And yes, I really have to tell everybody. I do not feel comfortable not letting everyone know I have a bed, too.
Maybe there's some other reasoning behind it, who knows?
Well I do, it's not for ego, but you go think that.

Then why?
What possible reason?
Why do we care?
Why do you need to tell us?

Far as I'm concerned your like a Vegetarian that eats chicken. Or a vegan that is a vegan for 'health reasons' who then smokes.

Insanemal:kerosene-powered cheese grater

Insanemal. Don't you have something better to do in real life than hang out on here as an internet bully? Don't answer that, although I'm sure you will. Let us know what else we can say so you can make fun of us or condescend to get attention. We'll be right here.

He's got a point and I support his opinion. As for you, life without Job might help you realize that there is better things in life besides all that iWhaterver.

Her name is not Mac or Mack.

I wish there were time/date stamps on comments... That was like a grand total of like 20mins worth of exchange. But you know without those, blanket accusations of life wasting are totally accurate

just to point out news is not opinion, its fact thats what news is just thought i would put it out this is not news... this is an opinion piece just annoys me its been classed as news... nothing against jobs i just like my "news" from a fairly neutral source (obviously every one will have their own thoughts but this is an extreme)

Enough Steve Jobs please. He was not an innovator. He was a great businessman with genius marketing skills. Let him rest. Stop writing about him. Enough.

Why do you deem your own disliking of articles to be reason not to publish them?
Apparently people want to get these, at least some.

Just do it like with a newspaper and just skip the headlines you think sound like lame news or not worth reading or skimming...

Or do you instead of putting "Sports" aside call up your newspaper and tell them to stop publishing those articles?

No.. I just am sick of seeing the same site post 20 of the same damn article.

Especially when is full of baseless rubbish.

Do your damn homework. Stop saying **** like "was a tech visionary that transcended the possibilities of its time". He was a good business man with an eye for design. He saw what would be good with the correct marketing.. He then stole lots of it, patented the questionable and was generally a dick to all in sundry.
He did not turn water into wine nor did he part the Red Sea, but the way people are going on about this ******* you would be forgiven for thinking so. I also feel its a disgrace that Dennis Ritchie can pass and only get one half arsed mention. The man that made most of Jobs's toys possible dies.. and nobody cares.

I seriously can't wait for interplanetary travel. Because this planet is too full of morons and I don't want to live here any more.

Why, because he is right. I am not glad Steve is dead but I am glad he's gone so you worshipers can find out what "Real Life" is. It's about time you guys break away from the collective and begin thinking like independent beings.

I can only hope that the people I swindle out of their hard-earned cash will praise me when I die as well, as opposed to urinating on my grave as they should. visionary? save that for people that actually did something worthwhile. people go on about this guy like he saved lives or something.

What about the EX-CEO of Motorola who just past away yesterday. He did a lot more than Steve Job ever did and I don't see it all over the place. Steve does not deserve this attention. Motorola produced the first cell Phone in the 80s and the first hand held cell phone in the 90s. That changed everything. they made the first public telephone. oh and did I say "Six Sigma".

In 1946 (October) - first "car phone" - Motorola communications equipment carried the first calls on Illinois Bell Telephone Company's new car radiotelephone service in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

they did a whole lot more.

Enough is enough man... How about Dennis Ritchie or Robert Galvin? Nah, won't get hits on those...

I know how you feel. I won't get too personal. But right now, I believe Steve should get his own statue. Did you know in the first decade of his company, he had to reclaim his company "Apple" back? But he did it with smarts and such because no one was able to produce such tech like he did that came with innovative style.

Without him, would we have a Toy Story? And what about all the types of creatives that produce beautiful art, movies, and such? Most of the greatest movies now are on Apple computers, never the less After Effects ; I gotta respect there software as I know they are of great use.

He was one of those that changed the way we interact to date. I believe that Dennis is to be highly thanked in the first place or else we wouldn't even have these programs. HTML nor PHP wouldn't even exist along with the many other languages. And I say mad ode to him.

Robert? Oh yea, big ups! I used to want a Moto Razr so bad when I saw my mother have it. As soon as that phone came out, you already knew that they're one of the reasons the phones are slim as it is!

Yes he helped fund Pixar.. If he didn't somebody would have. What do you mean by the greatest movies are on Mac's? Pixar use PC's running linux to do their render farming.(Check the credits.. I've never seen AMD powered Mac.. not all credits.. flux between Intel and AMD's).. And After Effects.. that's just an adobe product... Ever heard of Lightworks? There are more products on other platforms that are used just as often if not more!

You just accredited PHP and HTML to the guy who invented C and then helped create UNIX

Do your damn homework..

I want to rant at you for hours.. but I doubt i will be able to use words monosyllabically enough for you to understand.

Okay dude, I said that there wouldn't be these languages now if there wasn't a C language which is basically the root of a lot of languages. Java was one of them, right? Just being Idealistic, not historical. I never said he was the creator of it. Seriously.

What?

So if he didn't invent C all the smart people after him would never have invented HTML and PHP and JAVA... I'll give you Java due to syntax similarities.. but the rest.. Please stop talking... You're basically saying that if Henry Ford didn't make cars planes would never of existed.

It's not as if they all come with the same plot.
