The Obama phone, made in China, sold in Kenya

It's no secret that President-elect Obama is a crowd pleaser. He has legions of faithful followers and he has started a movement of "change that we can believe in". So naturally the next logical thing for the Chinese to do is to rip off a Nokia design, brand it with the Obama name, and sell it in Kenya.

As hard as that is to believe, you will be able to pick up the Mi-Obama phone at the following retailers in Kenya ( the place of Obama's fathers birth) Xpress@, Nakumatt, Phonelink, and Tuskys for the low low price of $30.00.

While the phone idea is laughable it does go to show that Obama has reached a vast audience. He is on the world stage and has big shoes to fill after a long fought campaign.

these phones are pieces of crap, they are cheap knock offs, am from Kenya and really am a bit disappointed coz Obama is a sophisticated character they should have atleast put in an FM module and an mp3 player , n why are people hating on Obama??

Marxist? He(Bush) bailed out wall st and all the rest of the industries right? please put some thought before you write/say anything cause it only makes you look bad.

Well said, but I'm learning overtime that you can't argue with conservatives. If it ain't a christian state, gun rights, and the free market, to them, it's the downfall of society.

Oh don't you worry, there's WAY more bail-out coming.

A Socialist calling for "Change" in the middle of an economic depression...sounds like we'll all be eating cans of dog food soon.

maybe if we buy one of these 'pirated chinese' phones they will throw in a 'cat' for free....lol...seriously though...if obama fails the american people won't...so lets just stand behind obama for now...he is the one that put everything on his plate.

This is just sad.... Hey, i have an idea! Why don't we just rename the country "The United States of Obama?!?".....
Seriously, i can't wait till he stumbles and everyone turns on him, just like they've done for presidents past.

I don't understand why people are so angry. Obama won in a landslide against McCain... yet all I hear is McCain supporters speak up. This is just like the bush thing, everyone sure does hate the guy, but you guys elected him in as president... TWICE

I sure as hell didnt vote for Bush. We had 2 fixed elections which is why bush even got in. I am just glad that Obama was elected. Even if he does nothing he sure as hell wont be worse than bush. And for those Mc Cain supporters, seriously just what the hell do you think would have happened as soon as Mc Cain got into office? He would have died of a stroke or heart attack 2 weeks after being in office and we would be stuck with that idiot Palin for the rest of the duration of the turn. That in itself was reason enough to vote for Obama even if you were a Mc Cain supporter. Had he choose a different Vice President I think the election could have been alot closer but Obama would have still won the election.

Actually, he didn't... according to the popular vote.

Thank you. I was about to chime in myself. McCain did manage to pull 47% of the popular vote. In other words, damn near half of the country voted for McCain. Therefore, Obama did not win by a landside; as a literal matter of fact, he won by a slim majority.

LOL.....all this idiot is going to do is set back black political hopes for decades.
When all his socialist/marxist ideas FAIL, it will be blamed on him....well, they will try to blame it on
Bush, like everything else, but I would imagine Bush after Tuesday will go into hiding, and then when
Hussein Obama FAILS, he will be laughing so hard you will be able to hear it.
I give him til June before the new wears off, and people start having buyers remorse!

Marxism in principle isn't necessarily bad. Leszek Kolakowski's work on the subject is particularly illuminating. There's a lot of truth in it. And Socialism certainly has its place.

I wouldn't say capitalism has been entirely successful, either. Read anything by Guy Debord or his contemporaries and and you get a very interesting picture of the society in which we live.

Someone been listen a little to much to Anne Coulter? Who cares what his middle name is and why even write it? His name is Barack not Hussein, maybe I should of been going around calling George Bush Walker Texas Ranger Bush?

I don't listen to Ann or Rush, and I agree with napp51stang. Hussein Obama is part of his real name, G.W. Bush does not have Texas ranger in his name.... funny though.

Even though I didn't vote for him (or McCain), I pray he does well.

You never heard people walking around saying Walker Bush though.. Hussein is purpously being up in front to do fear mongering for the people that (and yes there are them out there) that anyone that has Hussein in their name is "evil"... and those people REALLY need to read the History of Islam and the Middle East and get over their incorrect beliefs..

I have heard of people doing that with Obama's name, I feel it's neither right nor wrong. It's basically an opinion, and every one has got one of those.

All I can say is ... I hope Obama really does have an "S" on his under shirt ... it would be hard for anyone to live up to the expectations ... not only put on him by Americans ... but the entire world.

I fear that were setting him up to fail....everyone sees him as the hero that can do no wrong...at somepoint he will make a hard decision that will **** of 49% of the country and please 51%

December 21"th" huh.....

In Thailand they love their King. Not just like how we like our Queen, oh no - they love him like a God, and worship him. I personally think it's amazing, and how things should be - but that said, they have a decent monarch at the moment.

Anyhow, all their taxi's, cars, shops, all of it - they have stickers saying "Long Live King" or "I <3 King".

In a store I saw an official Jabra bluetooth headset with it on...
