Top 10 Best Selling PC Games Week Ending Nov. 4th

Here we go again, NPD's top selling PC games for the week ending November 4th. You'll notice something amazing this go round, World of Warcraft is not in the top 3 this week! The end is nigh.

  1. The Sims 2 Pets - Electronic Arts
  2. Neverwinter Nights 2 - Atari
  3. Battlefield 2142 - Electronic Arts
  4. World of Warcraft - Blizzard Entertainment
  5. Flight Simulator X Deluxe - Microsoft
  6. Star Wars: Empire At War: Forces of Corruption - Lucasarts
  7. Neverwinter Nights 2 Limited Edition - Atari
  8. The Sims 2 - Electronic Arts
  9. Flight Simulator X - Microsoft
  10. Guild Wars Nightfall - NCSoft
So, Neverwinter Nights 2 debuts strongly in the top 10 occupying the number 7 and number 2 positions. Not bad Atari. The Sims 2 is like the energizer bunny, it keeps going and going and going - well you get the point. Ditto on World of Warcraft, though it did drop out of the top 3 for the first time since release I believe. Once The Burning Crusade comes out though, look for it to be #1 for the next millennium or two. Flight Sim X continues to do well, as does Battlefield 2142. Empire at War's expansion is selling well now as well, and holding on this week is Guild Wars Nightfall. All in all a pretty decent top 10, all good games and I have nothing funny to say right now, so I'm done.

Flight Simulator X in the top10?.

How strange.. since to play with a flight simulator you' will need a no-standard control (a joystick with a lot of buttons, a HOTAS...). So in other words :flight simulator are only for hardcore gamers not for the masses.
